Kajian Makna Romantisme Dalam Puisi "Bersama Mu" Karya Senja dan Mentari

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of meaning contained in the poem titled “Bersamamu” (“With You”). The main purpose of this research is to reveal and describe the meanings behind each word in the poem. As a literary work, poetry has the power to convey the writer's inner feelings and experiences deeply, thus requiring an appropriate approach to fully understand the essence of every expression used. The method employed in this research is content analysis, using a Romanticism approach. The Romanticism approach is chosen due to its relevance in exploring literary works that emphasize values of emotion, imagination, and personal experience. This approach highlights the importance of emotion, intuition, and individual expression in interpreting poetry. In this context, “Bersamamu” is interpreted as an outpouring of deep love and longing. The analysis reveals that the poem is rich with emotional meaning, illustrating the writer’s inner connection with the person they cherish. The language used is filled with emotional nuances, ranging from joy in togetherness to touching expressions of longing and loss. Through the Romanticism lens, readers can sense that each stanza of the poem reflects the author’s genuine personal and emotional experience. Therefore, this study contributes to understanding poetry as a medium for expressing deep emotions and personal experiences, particularly through the perspective of Romantic literary criticism.
