Pengaruh Program Matrikulasi terhadap Peningkatan Kemampuan Tahfiz Al-Qur’an Siswa Kelas X E-3 SMAIT Al-Fityan School Medan

This research is motivated by the importance of the matriculation program as an initial coaching to equalize students' basic abilities before participating in tahfiz Al-Qur'an learning. This study aims to determine the implementation of the matriculation program, determine the tahfiz ability of the Qur'an of students, and analyze the influence of the matriculation program on the tahfiz ability of the Qur'an of students in class X E-3 of SMAIT Al-Fityan School Medan. This study uses a quantitative approach with a type of causal associative research. The population as well as the research sample amounted to 36 students with a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis included the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, the linearity test, simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and determination coefficient. The results showed that the t-calculated value of 5.084 was greater than the t-table of 1.690 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so Ho was rejected, and Ha was accepted. The results of the determination coefficient showed that the matriculation program had an influence of 43.2% on the ability of tahfiz Al-Qur'an students, while 56.8% was influenced by other factors outside the study. Thus, it can be concluded that the matriculation program has a significant effect on the ability of tahfiz Al-Qur'an students in class X e-3 of SMAIT Al-Fityan School Medan.
